Concept
of success theory.
In
my last article, I tried to define success and put up a platform upon which
this article will be rooted. In this article as I promised, we shall be
discussing the concept of success theory. As in my first article, success is
people-dependent and you must develop the passion to solve the needs of people
before you can really achieve meaningful success. According to Bishop David O.
Oyedepo, the best investment ever, is to invest into the lives of people.
Simply put, try as much as you can to always discover the needs of people and
solve them. By doing this, you are
building up a portfolio of unending success. Without much ado, the success
theory comprises the following;
CONCEPTUALIZATION
OF A POSITIVE IDEA
Ideas
are the building block for unending success. The platform form for
entrepreneurship is idea. Idea is the crucible that refines and empowers
imagination to bring about the ultimate reality. This makes idea the ruler of
the world. There is no successful
business empire that did not start as a little tingling idea. That is to say that
idea may be so minute and insignificant when conceived yet it bears in itself
the seed of unending greatness and manifestation. People are not interested in people who talk
about the problem rather; they are looking for the people who will solve the
problem. Your ability to see the
problems that others cannot see is an essential key to a provoking success.
Tools
for idea generation
The
powerful tools that spontaneously gear up streams of ideas within you are many
but I will summarize them under the following headings;
- · Imagination:
Your ability to picture the
ultimate from the immediate gives you the power to overcome limitations to your
destiny. It is the power that takes you to the future you see and helps you put
up a rugged and dogged plan to bring it to reality. Imagination makes you fall in love with your
destiny such that you are willing and ready to pay the price to have it within
you and not at a distance again. Ideas
are pictorial representations that are highly appreciated in the world of
imagination. Of a true, you can not feature in a future that you can not
picture. Imagination helps you to avoid procrastination in planning. So, start
developing those positive imaging ideas and work towards their ultimate
reality.
- · Thinking:
This is the critical and rational
analysis of your imaginations. To
imagine is not enough, start thinking of how to bring them to reality. Those
ideas have so much waited for you in an unknown territory and they are just
waiting for your proposal. Become a strategic manager of your own imagination
and provoke a public announcement of those ideas that will place you on the topmost
height of your career.
- Decision
According to Bill Newman,
deciding not to decide is a risk. In the same sound, Bishop Benson Idahosa
said, it is riskier not to take a risk.
What are you deciding over? ACTION! Brian Tracy said, the key to success
is ACTION! Stop procrastinating and begin to act. Let me quickly say this, the
more you procrastinate over taking active steps in manifesting your ideas, the
more you loose the passion and strength to pursue them, so doing, ideas will stop flowing and the ones you have
will expire and that will make you an expired entity. The more you decide to act, the more ideas
come. No one goes to where he is not
welcome. So are ideas. Give them an opportunity to display and they will keep
flowing to you. Decide to decide today!
- · Knowledge
If there is anything that will
save us in this present time, it is knowledge.
Develop the passion to know and develop a plan that will help you to be
knowledgeable. Read like never before,
be ready to teach and be teachable. Learn from the experiences of those that
had gone ahead of you in your profession or career. Pursue knowledge like it is the only reason
for living. Pursue it with focus having in mind where you are going to and what
you want to achieve; with determination and courage to apply to what you have
learnt. If you must succeed, discover
your core essence in life and develop yourself through knowledge. Great ideas come through knowledge. When you
rob mind with your mentors through their books, audio tapes, and visuals, you
will discover that in no time, you will be better than them. If so, why don’t go for that success
empowering knowledge?
- · Quietness
Quietness is a precious gift that
is not common to all. It makes a whole lot of distinction between the common
and uncommon people; the ordinary and extraordinary people. Quietness is the
backbone for witty inventions. It is yet an undiscovered wisdom. Some people
can be quiet on the outside but are very noisy in the inside. You have to learn
to be quiet inside- out. Learn to
control the thoughts of your mind. Be in absolute control. Take some quiet time
to think. If possible, take out at least five to ten minutes of your time daily
to be quiet. It will help you to dissolve those most difficult threats in your
work. Quietness is a positive attitude
that leads to discovery and recovery.
Learn to talk less and listen more.
- · Sound mind
Like begets like. Whatever thing you feed your mind with
determines what comes in and goes out of it.
Feed your mind with positive thoughts and positive ideas will flow to
you with ease and vice versa. The mind
is the receptor, the conceiver and the incubator of ideas. So, it must be
positively and properly taken care of. The reproductive system that is
responsible for the safe conception and delivery of idea is all complete in the
mind. Do not let negativity be the fertilizing
sperm in your mind. According to Richard
Rosenblatt, man thinks 60,000 thoughts a day; do not waste 59,999 on negative
limiting thinking.
Success is not a miracle; it is a
process of life determined by three key factors; choices, decisions and attitudes.
